Coco

Coco is a vowel pronunciation training system 'Coco'. Using this application students of speech and language therapy can train their pronunciation of Flemish Dutch vowels against voices of broadcasters of the Flemish Radio and Television Broadcasting Organization. The application is implemented in the PRAAT scripting language.

Visible Vowels

Visible Vowels is a web app for the visualization and normalization of acoustic vowel measurements: f0, formants and duration. Visible Vowels uses a live view, i.e., each time the user changes something in the settings, the plot shown in the viewer is immediately adjusted accordingly. Line graphs, scatter plots (2D and 3D), dot plots and bar graphs are included. Distances between speakers and speaker groups can be measured and visualized by means of dendrograms and multimultidimensional scaling plots. LED-A means 'Levenshtein Edit Distance App'. It is a web app for calculating linguistic distances with Levenshtein distance using phonetic IPA transcriptions. The app is implemented in the programming language R as a Shiny app.

UDPipe Frysk

UDPipe Frysk is a web app for lemmatizing, PoS tagging and depdencency parsing of Frisian texts. The lemmatizer/tagger/parser are trained on Frisian text that is annotated according to the guidelines of Universal Dependencies version 2. UDPipe is used as available via the R package udpipe. The app is implemented in the programming language R as a Shiny app.

SIBI

SIBI is a lending system for journals at the Fryske Akademy.I has a database that contains all the journals that can be borrowed and which is used for the registration of the loans. Journals can be searched for by entering either the title, author, name of the journal, ISSN, ISBN or free search terms. The app is implemented in the programming language R as a Shiny app.
