The course included: t tests, one-way and multi-way ANOVA, repeated measures ANOVA, mixed factorial ANOVA, multivariate ANOVA, nonparametric tests, simple and multiple linear regression, ANCOVA, proportions, analysis of two-way tables, logistic regression, mixed-effects models and explorative methods.

The courses included: z confidence intervals and z significance tests, t confidence intervals and t significance tests, binomial distributions, confidence intervals and significance tests for comparing proportions, chi-square test, Fisher's exact probability test, non-parametric tests, one-way and two-way analysis of variance, repeated measures analysis of variance, simple and multiple linear regression analysis, logistic regression analysis, mixed-effects models, cluster analysis and multidimensional scaling.
The course included: naive Bayes text classification, vector-based classification, k-nearest neighbors classification, k-means clustering, hierarchical clustering, collaborative filtering-based recommender systems and content-based recommender systems.
The course included: techniques for measuring dialect differences and visualizing dialect variation, comparison of dialect variation to geography, validation and measuring the consistency of distance measures, measuring the quality of classifications, reference point maps, the use of Gabmap.
